There are both advantages and disadvantages of keeping pets at home. Pets are considered to be members of the family. They are good and loyal friends who do not hurt our feelings. Animals give us a lot of love and we do not feel lonely with them who never complaints and quarrel with us. What is more, it is good for the owner’s health because we have to obligation take them for a walk what is good for us too. Undeniably, it is source of enjoyment. It is quite obvious that children treat animals as living toys. The good side is that they are taught responsibility by animals. Kids must look after them. So, pets take significant role in forming our personality. On the other hand, animals can be a big problem for people who do not have much time. They need a lot of attention and they often cause damage. Some of animals are noisy and not only can it be a big problem for their owners but also for neighbors. Another drawback is that we should not leave children with pets alone because they follow their instincts and cannot be trusted. Moreover, pets can also be ill and spread diseases, so they can not be treated like real people. In addition, the maintenance of the animal costs very much for example, visits to the vet, food or toys. To sum up, keeping pets at home has good and bad sides.
