Dying Light is getting a Definitive Edition that includes all 26 DLC to wave goodbye to the parkour zombie game seven years after it was released.

This ultimate edition premieres on June 9th 2022! It will be available on all platforms as a digital release. The Nintendo Switch version will come out at a later date, available as a digital and retail release. The Definitive Edition consists of the base game and all 26 DLCs (including skin bundles and expansion packs).

I almost put in a help ticket when this happened to me, but after researching it a bit I discovered that this was indeed a good thing. Definitive is a more complete version than Platinum. Buy a Platinum edition for less and get upgraded to Definitive. This is the way. r/dyinglight.
Finally, all owners of Dying Light are being automatically upgraded to the Enhanced Edition of the game, which includes The Following expansion, Bozak Horde, Cuisine and Cargo, the Ultimate
The Definitive Edition literally has everything Techland is going to ever release for DL1. The Platinum Edition is supposed to upgrade into the Definitive Edition automatically, but I don't know if Switch supports that, if you want to download updates before playing anything, etc..
